Your Visit

The Oast Theatre is 1.5 Miles from Tonbridge Station. Trains to Tonbridge from London and Sevenoaks are frequent. There is a cab rank just around the corner in Waterloo Road and the 402 bus stops nearby, though services are hourly so it’s worth checking times in advance.

We welcome all members of the community here at The Oast Theatre and look forward to your visit. Whether you’re here to watch a play or join one of our many volunteering opportunities, we’re glad you could make it!

The Auditorium

Seating 112, our auditorium is host to a wide variety of mainstage shows from September to July. Our fantastic lighting equipment really brings the stage to life as the actors step out onto the boards.

The Bar

Opening an hour before showtime, our friendly bar stocks local drinks for you to savour during your visit.

TN Card members can grab a free tea or coffee when enjoying one of our shows.

Accessibility

Wheelchair Access
It is Oast Theatre policy to enable wheelchair users to attend performances as far as is reasonably practicable. Fire regulations prohibit a wheelchair being located in an aisle but seats A1 and 2 and A13 and 14 are removable, enabling one wheelchair to occupy either end of the front row. There is step free access to this area.

In order to book these seats please contact the box office directly a minimum of seven days before the show on 01732 363849 or by email boxoffice@oasttheatre.com to allow us to organise removal of the seats. A wheelchair customer pays the price of a single seat. An adjacent seat or seats may be booked at the same time if available.

Hearing Loop
The Oast Theatre’s hearing loop is an assistive listening system that helps make our productions welcoming to people with hearing loss. It transmits audio directly to users’ hearing aids or cochlear implants (CI), cutting out background noise and making speech and music clearer. You will need to switch your hearing aid or CI to the hearing loop setting (also known as the ‘T’ setting or program), to use this facility.

Janet Young Studio Access
The Janet Young Studio is on the first floor of the theatre and is accessible via two staircases: one from the foyer, the other from backstage.
