Welcome to the Art Group at Tonbridge Theatre and Arts Club!
Whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or you’re an experienced artist looking for a creative community, our Art Group would love to have you.
We meet every Tuesday afternoon in the art studio nestled inside one of our original oast houses — an inspiring setting to explore drawing, painting, or whatever medium sparks your imagination. All TTAC members are welcome, and there’s no pressure, just friendly faces and a shared love of making art.
Many of our members also play a hands-on role in the theatre itself, helping to design, build and paint the sets that bring our productions to life — so if you’ve ever wanted to see your creativity on stage, this is the place to be.
We also love to showcase our work. Paintings by TTAC artists rotate regularly in the bar lounge, where they’re seen by members and audiences alike — and yes, they do sell! Each month, one of our artists takes centre stage with their very own solo exhibition as our Oast Artist of the Month.
